Director, iBiopsy® Clinical Science - Median Technologies

The candidate of Director of iBiopsy® Clinical Science will design and execute the clinical validation studies of submitted imaging biomarkers related to Median’s proprietary iBiopsy® product. The candidate will present results internally and externally, and manage collaborations and external development partners (including public and private organizations). The ability to effectively communicate across internal multi-disciplinary teams and with external partners is required. Applicants should be outstanding and collaborative team members, terrific communicators, organizers and an experienced biomarker scientist.

Presentation of activities and main tasks linked to the job

  • Position attached to the iBiopsy® Program under the supervision of the Vice President, Product & Commercial Strategyo
  • Responsibilities :
  1. Management of project timelines and delivery of clinical studies as well as professional status and planning reports
  2. Validate fit-for-purpose imaging biomarker programs
  3. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, collaborators and external consultants to develop and test hypotheses
  4. Active management of database-related study monitoring and study reporting by independently supporting multiple programs
  5. Full accountability and independent preparation / editing / revision of documents for consistency, completeness, and accuracy and ownership for various documents, including study protocols
  6. Present experimental results at group meetings, project meetings and department meetings
  7. Serves as interface between different study associated sub-departments (Pathology Team, biosample management team, core laboratory, CRO, clinical study team)
  8. Manage biomarker discovery and validation
  9. Interface with Biomarker biostatistician for development of sensitive and specific diagnostic tools
  10. Interface with biomarker advisory board to ensure alignment on protocol design
  11. Interface with R&D team to ensure proper endpoints related to technological validation of biomarkers
  12. Maintain expertise in the field of immuno-oncology biology as it pertains to biomarker discovery and patient outcomes, through keeping abreast of literature, attending relevant meetings, and liaison with external experts in the field
  13. Collect, archive, organize and analyze samples for downstream analyses

  • Education : Doctorate in Imaging, Engineering, or Life Sciences
  • Experience :
  1. 5+ years in Clinical Scientist
  2. 5+ years in Clinical Project Management
  3. 5+ years Oncology
  • Skills : MS Office
  • Qualities : The individual must possess excellent data management and verbal/written communication skills have ability to independently design and perform experiments, analyze and interpret data, present results in a clear, concise and timely manner, and prepare final written reports.
    Deliver reproducible and impactful results under ambitious timelines.
