4 November 2024

La start-up marseillaise Ana Healthcare primée

Created in 2022 and based in Marseille, Ana Healthcare's mission is to accelerate medical research by simplifying the analysis of medical imaging data.

Ana Healthcare's platform, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to advance medical research, is winner of the I-Lab competition in the Digital Health category of the competition, which aims to accelerate the growth of deeptech companies .“We are honored to have been selected among the most promising projects in the French deeptech ecosystem, underlines Kai Hashimoto, president of Ana Healthcare. This valuable support will allow us to respond to a major challenge: developing a platform that allows professionals to design the diagnostic tools of tomorrow for the benefit of patients..”

Use medical imaging data

Every year around the world, medical data grows by more than 30%. 90% of this data is medical imaging data from more than 3.6 billion examinations carried out annually. These data are particularly used in the context of research in oncology and for the development of precision medicine.
Ana Healthcare offers a bioinformatics solution to exploit the potential of imaging data, in order to accelerate clinical research and the discovery of new treatments.
The Ana Healthcare platform makes it possible, thanks to intelligent data augmentation, to reuse this data in a secure environment and save up to 70% time during clinical trials and research work. In parallel with its digital platform, the Marseille deeptech company aims to create a network of partner sites all over the world.

A specialized language model

The project presented in the I-Lab competition aims to develop a large language model specialized in medical imaging. It will allow all stakeholders such as hospitals, medical technology companies and pharmaceutical groups to facilitate access to qualified data and thus shorten development cycles. The developments envisaged on the platform will lead to a functional and qualified demonstrator, as well as the development of strategic partnerships in Europe and the United States.
