Nanoscale Metrix

Nanoscale Metrix is ​​a company based in Toulouse and created in the summer of 2022. Nanoscale Metrix develops innovative analysis solutions to determine the size distribution of nanoparticles or biomolecules in a size range from 0.1 to 100 nm by analysis of the Taylor Dispersion. This method consists of injecting a band of solute into an open capillary tube and mobilizing it under the influence of a hydrodynamic flow (parabolic velocity profile, Poiseuille flow). The principle of determining the hydrodynamic radius of the molecule is based on the Taylor-Aris relationship which establishes the link between the spread of the peak of the compound present in Gaussian form and the molecular diffusion coefficient.
