Strategic partnership renewal creates enhanced opportunities for life science companies
MARSEILLE, France, September 29, 2025 – Eurobiomed, the leading health innovation cluster in Southern France, and Biocom California, the premier life science trade association in California, announced today the renewal and expansion of their partnership through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This strengthened collaboration, building upon their previous agreement, was signed in Marseille during a high-profile visit of a San Diego delegation to France, led by United States Congressman Scott Peters, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, and World Trade Center San Diego (WTCSD).
The renewed partnership focuses on creating tangible opportunities for member companies of both organizations through three pillars:
- Information and knowledge sharing on healthcare markets, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement systems.
- Access to extensive networks of scientific and clinical experts.
- Business development support for companies expanding into new markets.
Accelerating Market Access in California and Southern France
The signing ceremony brought together innovative companies from both regions, demonstrating the sector’s keen interest in this transatlantic partnership. The delegation from southern France was led by Bruno Buisson, chairman of the Strategic Projects Committee of Eurobiomed and Neuroservices-alliance, and Pierre d’Epenoux, chief executive officer of Imcheck Therapeutics. The San Diego delegation, part of a week-long Trade Mission to France, includes representatives from life sciences companies GEN2X, French Bio Beach, La Jolla Labs; healthcare-focused venture firm Ambix Ventures; and research institutions UC San Diego and San Diego State University.
