Guillaume Merlin, co-founder of Gapzen, looks back on his experience with Move2Digital, the digital transformation support service offered by InExtenso Innovation Croissance in partnership with Eurobiomed and co-financed by Europe, the Sud region and the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis.

What was your first contact with Move2Digital?
We found out about the scheme when we were talking to Eurobiomed about European funding. For a young start-up like ours, the fact that we were fully supported from the initial diagnosis right through to the delivery of a roadmap was decisive. This program helps us to meet the challenges of digital transformation, which are particularly complex for developing companies.

In two and a half hours of auditing, we were able to establish a precise snapshot of our internal operations, our current tools and our future needs. This first step gave us a clear vision of our digital situation.

How did the support go?
The expertise provided was invaluable, both in validating our technological choices and in identifying essential points for improvement. In particular, it highlighted our needs in terms of automation and cybersecurity.

In an environment where it's difficult to find one's way around all the existing solutions, having an expert to guide you is crucial.

What concrete benefits did you derive from this?
The detailed report we received acts as a real roadmap. It enables us to clearly visualize what has been achieved, what needs to be developed in the short term, and what our longer-term objectives are. It's like a set of specifications for our digital transformation.

This saves us time and money, and enables us to anticipate future developments of our solution, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. Without it, we would probably have lost time and money in our digital transformation.
