President of the SPC
The SPC is a committee of experts made up of 18 scientists and entrepreneurs from the industrial, clinical or academic world, whose professional experience ranges from 15 to 40 years, and who have been involved in innovative projects for many years. The members of the Strategic Project Council are appointed intuitu personae by the Board of Directors on the basis of their skills and the need to cover all the scientific/technological areas of the Cluster’s roadmap.
The main role of the SPC is to provide support, expertise, labeling and monitoring of innovation and R&D projects.
The Strategic Project Council validates the technological interest and the positioning of R&D projects and reinforces its feasibility and its presentation. After checking for potential conflicts of interest, a member of the Strategic Project Council is appointed rapporteur for your project. It is then presented for labeling to the members of the Strategic Project Council who will challenge all aspects of the project (innovation, intellectual property, competitive analysis, consortium agreement, market access, economic model, financing methods, etc.).
The SPC decides independently to award the Eurobiomed certificate to the examined and approved projects.
Eurobiomed has implemented strict procedures guaranteeing confidentiality and proper management of conflicts of interest.
