The Grand Challenge Call for Projects "Digital Medical Devices in Mental Health" aims to support innovative projects in the field of digital mental health and psychiatry, and to foster the accelerated emergence of leading companies in their field, capable of achieving global reach by accelerating one of the development and market access phases.

Project Duration: 12 to 36 months.

Project Themes

Prevention, screening/diagnosis, management, and remote monitoring via digital medical devices (DMDs) within the scope of mental health, including, notably, psychiatric disorders, addictive disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

The developments specifically targeted by this call for projects encompass three stages:

• Stage 1: Development of future digital medical devices for mental health (TRL > 4/5).
• Stage 2: Clinical evaluation for CE marking of future Digital Medical Devices.
• Stage 3: Budgetary impact analysis (post-CE marking).

ELIGIBLE ENTITIES

• Mono-partners exclusively led by an SME as defined by European regulations
• A consortium where the "lead" company is an SME, bringing together industrial partners of all sizes and/or research partners, academic institutions, universities, healthcare establishments, foundations, and user associations. A consortium may include one or more large enterprises.

FUNDING

Present an indicative expenditure base ranging from €600k to €3M.

• Moyenne entreprise : 35%-50%
