Virtual reality exposure therapies have proven effective in treating anxiety disorders. The principle is simple: immerse the user in a virtual environment for therapeutic treatment. The patient, with the help of a 3-dimensional headset and a psychologist, is treated for their mental pathology: anxiety disorders, addictions, eating behavior disorders. Auditory and visual stimuli are projected to confront the patient with anxiety-provoking situations from daily life. This virtual therapy takes place in several stages, progressively and repeatedly.
