PFFI

PFFI aims to disrupt the treatment of the pain of the century which is back pain by the surgical treatment of low back pain and degenerative scoliosis. This winning project of the 2020 I-lab Prize is based on the biomechanical knowledge and surgical experience of nearly 30 years of Dr Paul FAYADA, orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine, inventor of the concept and president of the PFFI. Our patented innovation proposes to combine the use of biocompatible composite materials with an innovative positioning geometry and thus to develop flexible instrumentation, guaranteeing flexibility, mobility and support for the spine. PFFI's ambition is therefore to develop, qualify and then register and market this innovative implantable device in the USA and Europe.
