The ambition of the aiPyx team is to become the world leader in the diagnosis of calcific diseases in the next 5 years. Calcifying diseases are a serious public health issue since with age or certain illnesses the body develops calcifications. Among calcifying diseases, we find diseases such as kidney failure, neurodegenerative diseases, rheumatological diseases and certain cardiac pathologies. The objective is to provide a diagnostic test quantifiing Inorganic Pyrophosphate concentrations levels in biological fluids and become a diagnostic companion in certain calcifying pathologies indications. This novel biomarker could become an inflammation indicator providing a new approach to human body aging measurement. |
