ICOVELL develops a technology that combines a marker, a method, and a low-cost device to measure the deformability of red blood cells in a drop of blood. Our first application is clinical monitoring and prediction of vaso-occlusive crisis in sickle cell disease patients. The target markets are research labs, hospitals, clinics, medical dispensary and, ultimately, patients through a Point of Care device. |
